Day 1: – Head off for Kibale National Park
Together with your Safari guide, leave Kampala and head off for Kibale National Park which is a charming drive. Make a pause at Fort Portal town for lunch. Continue your drive to the lodge, check-in and have an afternoon off break. Overnight at Rwenzori View Guest house or Ndali Lodge (FB)
Day 2: Kibale Chimpanzee tours
On this second day take breakfast and go to the ranger station at 08.00am for briefing before commencing the chimpanzees trekking exercise. Launch your search for Chimpanzees and over 13 species of primates including the red tailed and grey cheek Mangabey plus many other primates and birds. You will have a spectacular experience viewing other mammals including smaller elephants, giant forest hog, buffalo and antelope among others. The guide will give you exhaustive explanations on the plant and animal life to ensure that your walk is similarly enjoyable and educational. Day 3: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning after breakfast, advance to Queen Elizabeth National Park as you follow the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Ranges. A game drive en route will expose to you animal like the buffalo, elephant, antelope, Spotted Hyena, leopard, lion as well as bird species. A variety of primates include Chimps, Black and white Colobus Monkeys, Blue, Black Faced Red Colobus, and Red Tailed monkeys and Olive Baboons. Day 4: Game Drives and Boat Rides
Take pleasure in an early morning game drive that will give you exceptional opportunities of seeing buffaloes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, antelopes, Defassa Water-bucks, Spotted hyenas, leopards, lions as well as several bird species. In the afternoon, have a boat ride to Kazinga Channel, which is a wonderful fundamental point for game viewing, bird watching and picture making. Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and Depart for Kampala
Subsequent to an early breakfast, set off for Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking and have a view for an array of primates. Be off to Kampala from Queen Elizabeth and have lunch on route. Arrive in Kampala late evening where you retire to your accommodation and have dinner as you wait for the next day’s flight back home.
