7 Days Uganda Flying Safari to Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Day 1: Fly from Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
You will have breakfast and then drive Entebbe airport. From here you will take a flight to Pakuba Air strip in Murchison Falls National park which is 18kms from Paraa safari lodge. From here you will drive and connect to the lodge. You will go for a game drive and later drive to the lodge for lunch and then relax at the lodge
Day 2: Game Drive and Launch cruise
Breakfast and then go for a game drive. You may spot Elephants, buffalo’s, giraffes, lions, Leopards, hippos, crocodiles, and antelopes like the Uganda Kob, Oribi and Jackson Hartebeest. Leopard is also present but uncommon. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise to the bottom of the falls where you might spot, the Shoebill Stork, crocodile and hippos. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Lodge
Day 3: Fly from Murchison Falls national park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have breakfast and fly from Pakuba Airstrip to Mweya airstrip. You will have lunch and later visit Katwe salt mines. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Ride at Kazinga Channel
You will have an early game drive where you will see leopards, spotted hyena, side stripped jackal, bush back, topi, sitatunga, buffalo, elephant, hippo, and mangoose. You will return to the lodge for lunch and then go for a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel. Its quiet enriching because you may see birds like the African Fish Eagle, Black Crake, African Jacana, Water Thick-knee, Spur-winged and African Wattled Plovers, Malachite and Pied kingfishers, Swamp flycatchers and Yellow backed Weavers, Great-white and Pink-backed Pelicans, Great and Long-tailed Cormorants, Common Squaco Heron, you may also see crocodiles and hippos. Later return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 5: Fly from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Forest
After breakfast you will fly to Kihihi Airstrip. The driver will pick you and transfer you to Bwindi for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast with packed lunch and drive you to UWA park headquarters for briefing. After briefing you will go for trekking which takes about 1 to 8 hours. You will have one hour only with the gorillas. During the trekking you may spot birds like the Short-tailed Warbler, Rusty-faced woodland Warbler, Bar-tailed Trogon, Gruer’s Rush Warbler, among others animals like the black fronted duikers, South African porcupines, golden monkey, giant forest hog, bush bucks, buffalo, bush pigs, buffaloes, elephants, jackals, Black and white colobus monkey, chimpanzee. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Kampala
After breakfast the driver will pick you from the lodge after checking out and drive to Kisoro airstrip get a charter flight back to Kajansi airstrip in Kampala. End of Flying Safaris in Uganda
